Rented a car and headed out to Muir Woods along the coast. It has a sacred feel to it even with all of the people around.
The Redwood trees are enormous and the scale is hard to depict in photographs. Most of the trees are over 200 feet tall – as tall as a 20 story building!
It was a wonderfully foggy and mild day. It started raining just as we were leaving.
