Lotsa cool action at the Pinewood Derby. Alex came in with the fastest overall average time. In fact he only lost one race. Jack cheering them on Under the Finish Banner

The night before the pinewood derby and Alex and Dad are hurriedly crafting a winning pinewood derby car. Alex is checking the weight of the derby car anxious to put the wheels and stickers on.

My wife is a great storyteller and has a regular time slot at the local library each month, The “painterly” treatment seems to fit the subject matter well.
