Went to visit Mom in Memphis. It was my first visit since Dad died last October. She let me take this lovely picture of her while she was painting, one of her favorite pastimes.

On the back of this photo was written in Mom’s handwriting “Love was never so good.” It made me cry just thinking about it. The photo was taken in Tanglewood Park in North Carolina 1978.
