I surprised D with a trip to San Francisco for a few days. We had a great time, enjoying some great food and just spending time with each other.

We stayed at the Omni Hotel in SF.

Had some crab down at Ferry Plaza Seafood a few blocks from the Hotel.

The view of the bay was spectacular.

The Ferry Building had quite a few interesting shops also.

Saw some cool artwork at the de Young Museum in Golden Gate Park. They had a cool exhibit from the Musee d’Orsay that sold out 2 hours before we got there. Dalliene suggested that we will just have to see the pieces at the original Museum in France.

Mr. Jack Jessop finishing up his Mac ‘n Cheese at Communal. Dalliene and Katy took me there for my birthday. The food was AWESOME. Dalliene made me an apple pie that was both beautiful and tasty. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a picture of it.

Dalliene and I took Katy and Brenna out for lunch on her 18th birthday. As usual, we went to Kneaders. Hopefully we will have this same opportunity for several birthdays to come. We’ll see what the next few years brings. . .

It was one for the history books. With a seemingly sure thing snatched from BYU on the final play of the game. It has been a long time since I saw a game at Rice-Eccles Stadium. It was kinda freaky to see the sea of red.

I am much more familiar with the sea of blue from the BYU v UNM game last week:

First meaningful snow of the season left the capitol looking frosty.
