128/365 – My New Favorite Place to Eat
Katy and I were at a meeting, technically a “High Tea”, for her group that is going to “State” this summer. “State” is a week-long camp held a local college where all the participants have a very intensive primer on government and do a lot of activities such as running for office and such that give them hands-on experience in how government works. They also get 3 college credit hours for the experience. On the way back from this meeting in Springville, we passed by Kranky Franks, home of the Danger Dawg. We just could not let it go since we were both starving. It was an experience that we will have to soon repeat. These were some of the best hot dogs I have ever had. I am not really a hot dog person, but these were great.

126/365 – So Long Mr. Huish
Katy, Alex and Andrew all had Mr. Huish for Orchestra at Northridge Elementary. He has taught for 33 years total of which 18 were at Northridge. He is retiring and tonight was his last concert. It was sad to see him go but great to have had him as a teacher and friend. He is an amazing teacher and a warm-hearted person. We will all miss him.
Mr. Al Huish at his last concert

Son Jim sang with Becca Osmond – they sang The Prayer, a popular duet sung by Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion

Even Katy and many other former students of Mr. Huish joined in playing the last two songs.

He had a great sense of humor and all the kids and adults loved him
